CARE: CELEBRATING ACCESSIBILITY, RENEWING, AND EDUCATING

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) will be hosting an afternoon of Disability Awareness. The day will include performances by musicians, dancers, and storytellers with disabilities. The featured performance will be the debut of “From Struggle to Acceptance” a violin duet composed by Anthony Sanchez a budding composer from Georgia. The day will also include breakout sessions to discuss ADA compliance, disability in the arts, and tips for more comfortable interactions with people with disabilities. The goal of this day is to celebrate the successes of people with disabilities and educate the student body at PCOM and anyone else who wants to join about how to make their businesses disability friendly.
