THE LIFE OF GALILEO BY BERTOLT BRECHT AND DAVID HARE
April 16, 2016. Touch Tour at 1:00 pm, Performance at 2:30 pm.
Which of today’s core beliefs will be laughable in the years to come? And who will be brave enough to dispute them? In his epic parable The Life of Galileo, Bertolt Brecht juxtaposes the faith needed to believe without question with the leap of faith needed to question belief. Science boldly confronts the establishment in this streamlined adaptation by David Hare, disproving the notion that the universe revolves around humankind.
