25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ADA: A LOOK AT KEY CASES
Since the ADA was passed in 1990, many significant cases have been decided by the courts that have shaped how the ADA has been interpreted and implemented. To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the ADA, Equip for Equality and the Illinois ADA Project will take a look back at the most influential ADA cases by first reviewing the facts and ruling of these cases, and then discussing the broader impact the cases have had.
ABOUT CHICAGO BAR FOUNDATION
As the charitable arm of The Chicago Bar Association, The Chicago Bar Foundation (CBF) brings our legal community together to improve access to justice for people in need and make the legal system more fair and efficient for everyone. The CBF’s mission recognizes that taking a leadership role to ensure equal access to justice is our common cause as a profession, and that we can make a distinct impact in advancing that cause by the legal community coming together through the CBF.
