In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the ADA, Shawn Donnelley and Nora Daley have created Chicago’s first Cultural Accessibility Summit geared towards the leaders of cultural institutions. On September 1, The Chicago Community Trust released the updated “Renewing the Commitment,” an ADA Compliance Guide for Nonprofits designed to increase inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities beyond the 25th anniversary of the ADA.
