ADAPTIVE SPORTS PLAY FOR ALL
Chicago Children’s Museum and partner Dare2tri will celebrate people with disabilities and opportunities for active play for all people with a special event.
Dare2tri will host an Adaptive Cycling event on the Chicago Lakefront Trail to educate the community about the abilities of people with disabilities, to show how accessible cycling is and that the Lakefront Trail is open to all! It is also a great opportunity for people with disabilities to ride and enjoy the beautiful Chicago lakefront.
Keri Serota, Dan Tun, and Melissa Stockwell created the Dare2tri Paratriathlon Club in 2011 to “positively impact the lives of athletes with physical disabilities or visual impairments by providing opportunities to develop their skills in the sport of Paratriathlon while inspiring the community at large.”
