To further impact the area of community inclusion, IFF commits to deliver over 80 units of integrated, accessible, affordable rental housing for people with disabilities in 2015, across seven Chicago neighborhoods, five Suburban Cook County communities, and in Peoria, Illinois. IFF will hold approximately two events to celebrate the commencement of scattered-site housing development in Chicago, and the completion of its 70-unit scattered-site project for people transitioning out of nursing homes via the Colbert Consent Decree. In 2015, IFF is also focused on securing funding to create additional housing units that enable people with disabilities to live in the community. Between delivering integrated housing units and lining up funding for new projects, IFF is very involved in furthering the tenets of the ADA.
