ACCESSIBLE FAITH GRANT PROGRAM
RRF’s Accessible Faith Grant Program provides funding to Chicago area houses of worship to make their facilities more accessible. Funds may be used to install elevators and platform lifts, build interior and exterior ramps, construct or renovate restrooms and install assistive listening and other adaptive devices. With such improvements, older adults and people with disabilities may be able to participate more fully in the programs, services and activities that occur in these facilities. Houses of worship in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake and McHenry counties are eligible. The deadline for applying is June 1, 2015.
